Reiki Training
Counting Life, of Castle Rock, Colorado, US, is the authorized headquarters of Reido
Reiki in the West. At Counting Life, Reido Reiki Training Courses
for Healers will be taught by Chika Forbess on a one to one basis, unless they
are a couple or close friends who want to learn together. Upon completion of each course, you will receive the official
certificate directly from the main office in Japan.
Reido Reiki is a system of Usui Reiki. Fuminori Aoki Sensei is the founder and creator
of Reido Reiki, the oldest existing Reiki Institute in Japan except Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai. The original society created
by Usui Sensei, the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai, has continued for generations and still exists today, however, it does not provide
classes open to the public at present.
In Reido Reiki, the teachings passed down from
Traditional Japanese Reiki (Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai) have been blended with the teachings of Western Reiki (Reiki which Ms.
Hawayo Takata taught.) We do not touch any other contemporary modern Reiki.
In our Reido Reiki courses,
it is noted which parts of the curriculum reflect Traditional Japanese Reiki directly from Usui Sensei, and which techniques
were accepted as proven enhancements from Western Reiki (the Hawayo Takata Sensei line.) Technically, Reido Reiki is a blend
of Traditional Japanese Reiki and Western Reiki, but it is important always to understand that Reido Reiki strongly emphasizes
meditation, cultivating one's character, and 'living a Reiki way of life' - and these are core teachings from the heart of
original Japanese Reiki.
Reido Reiki Training Courses for Healers are composed of three dimensions: attunements, skills, and ethics.
In Reido
Reiki First and Second Degree, you learn the basics of Reiki as a level of therapy to be used only inside the family
and with close friends. In the Third-A Degree, you learn about self quest and spiritual growth. In the Third-B Degree, you
learn a level of becoming a semi-professional or professional Reiki therapist. The Fourth Degree is for teaching Reiki. You
need to have a considerable amount of experience in order to be able to take the Fourth Degree.
It
is not necessary for everyone to complete courses through the Fourth Degree (Usui Reiki Master Course.) Please learn what
you need at your own pace.

the attunement process.
After completion of Fourth-A Degree, you can choose
to either end your affiliation with Reido Reiki and become an independent master of Usui Reiki, or continue your affiliation
with Reido Reiki and become a licensed Usui Reido Reiki Master, a teacher of Reido Reiki Training Courses for Healers. In order to achieve this, you must receive additional
training that will prepare you to instruct others in Reido Reiki. Also, you must have a considerable amount of
Reiki healing experience, must demonstrate the standard of the art and procedure for attunement, and must have your Usui Reido
Reiki Master’s approval. Your Usui Reido Reiki Master is
in charge of this process, including making a request to the headquarters for your licensing.
Upon
receiving the title of Usui Reido Reiki Master, you are committed to maintain the standards of Reido Reiki and can begin teaching
the First and Second Degree of Reido Reiki Training Courses for Healers. As you continue with courses 4-B and beyond, you
will be qualified to teach the advanced courses.
